This people management course will help you understand what kind of leader you want to be and how you can get there. We build the foundations of the skills you need to become an influential and respected manager. You will learn how to create and inspire powerful teams.
You; if you are now or soon will be supervising or managing people, or you are a team leader or front-line manager. You have done little or no leadership training. It is perfect for you if you were promoted to a management role because of your ‘subject matter expertise’, rather than your managerial capabilities.
In this management course you will learn how to:
- set clear goals, prioritise and work smartly
- delegate effectively
- manage and resolve conflict
- coach people to help them achieve their full potential
- influence people without relying on formal authority
- build a motivated and collaborating team.
Our leadership course may include (but is not restricted to) any of the following subjects:
- goal setting, prioritising and delegating
- transition from expert or friend, to manager
- building trust
- motivating people
- giving and receiving feedback
- influencing skills
- personal action plans.
